Some of you may be wondering about all the people chitchatting, a beer in their hand, on the bridge behind Campo Santa Fosca. The reason for this crowd is the pub Il Santo Bevitore: as most other bars in Venice it’s not very spacious inside and thus the guests simply have a drink outside at the tables or in the nearby calli or on the bridge.
Il Santo Bevitore (“The holy boozer”) is for sure a must for all beer lovers, as the pub offers not only international beers but also changes it’s offer regularly with new guest beers.
One pint costs about €6 up: A considerable price, but Venice is more expensive than other places and for an international beer, that you’ll hardly find in a supermarket, it’s in my opinion a fair price.
