About

Beatrice Avatar

Piacere, mi chiamo Beatrice!

I grew up in the heart of the Alps, Innsbruck, and decided after my final secondary-school examination to enrol in Romance studies at the Leopold-Franzens-University in Innsbruck.

My first stay abroad (1 year) was in France / Angers during an Erasmus Exchange Program that gave me the possibility to perfect my linguistic competences and permitted me a deep insight in French culture.

This positive expierence abroad encouraged me in my decision to participate, after graduating from University (Master of Humanities in Romance studies), at a programm called SWAP that allowed me to travel one year through Canada (Montreal to Vancouver Island) and to work in Montreal as a localization tester (English-German) for Babel Media.

In Italy I passed the governmental exam to become a licensed tour leader and tour guide, a career that allows me to combine my passions and interest (history, culture, languages) and revealed itself very stimulating.

I’m offering:

*family tours and treasure hunts
*walking tours through the different Sestieri of Venice
*theme tours (for instance “The Venetian courtesans”, “Venice movie set tour”, …)
*accessible tours

Owing to the passion for my work, I attach great importance to continuing education and thus this list represents only a choice of available tours.
