It is the year 1347. An invisible enemy sneaked in an oriental port on board of a ship directed to Europe and should afflict the old world for more than 500 years: The plague.
Follow the history of the plague in Venice passing the Church of Saint Sebastian, walking along the Zattere and some hidden side streets in Dorsoduro. You will see and hear the history of the Redeemer’s Church on Giudecca Island – opposite Dorsoduro on the other side of the canal – and finally reach the Church of the Salute and one of the best panoramic points in Venice: Punta della Dogana with a view over Saint Mark’s Basin.
